What to expect.

Since visiting a new church can be a little intimidating for some, we want to do everything we can to make your first visit welcoming and enjoyable.  We don't want you to be just another face in the crowd.

WHEN ARE YOUR SERVICES?

We have worship services each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  Bible classes are Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

what do I wear?

Diverse. Casual. Relaxed. Northside is a 'come as you are' church.  You'll see people wearing jeans, shorts, slacks, dresses, t-shirts, jackets and ties.  It is completely up to you whether you come dressed up or dressed down.

what is the worship style?

Northside loves to sing and enjoys a cappella traditional style worship (we don't have a band or musical instruments).  We will start with a greeting and welcome followed by singing, prayer, scripture reading, offering, communion and the sermon.  Our worship ends with a song and announcements.

where do I park?

We are located on East 10th Street in Jeffersonville.  Guest parking is located on the front row in front of the main entrance into the Worship Center.  General parking is available elsewhere in the lot.

where do I go when I arrive?

As a first-time guest you should arrive 10-15 minutes early, especially if your children need care.  Head to the Welcome Center located just inside the main entrance where our volunteers will help you get started.  The Worship Center is located just to the right of Welcome Center.  If you need help finding a seat, an usher or deacon will gladly assist you.

I have children, do they attend worship with me?

Children may attend service with you.  We also have safe, secure child care for infants and toddlers.  Children from age 3 through 2nd grade will be dismissed midway through worship to participate in Bible time, if you so choose.

what is the offering?

Our members give financially as an act of worship.  As our guest, do not feel obligated to give.

what do I do during communion?

All believers are invited to participate in communion each Sunday as we remember Jesus' sacrifice for our sins.  As the communion trays are passed down each row, please take the juice and bread.

how long will worship last?

Worship at Northside lasts about 75 minutes.
